Okay, so I've been in love with Hulu since beta. But recently it's had the most ridiculously dark and ludicrous ads I've ever seen. First, one with little kids insulting each other. Then, one with a small child in a foreclosed house. A dude playing drums, warning you not to drive buzzed. What ever happened to the age of really fucking hysterical advertisements? I loved those! Please, Hulu...lighten up.

Well friends, I'm back, with another excuse why I haven't been writing. We've been in a rental house for the month of July, but we've just found a long-term rental to move in to. It is in Damariscotta, which I know nothing about.

I'm Starting a Band...by Myself

I am now officially declaring myself a band. By myself. I shall be called "Knotted Vortex Tubes in the Ether," and if I want to add band members someday, maybe I shall. Currently it's me, my guitar (an Alvarez acoustic & a Fender electric), my computer, my flute, my drum kit, my didgeridoo, and possibly my trumpet and violin. Please be aware that I only really know how to play two of these (the guitar & didgeridoo, but can play the drums & flute passably), so I think that I'll just have to call it: psychedelic experimental folk metal/acoustic punk.
