Iron/Bat Man! FIGHT!

Well, Batman's been out a while now (saw it the third day...crowds were still huge), and Iron Man (saw first day, crowds were very manageable) even longer, and I have to say, I think I'm the only person who liked the latter more.
Oh, Batman was great, and Heath Ledger did pull off a very convincing performance, but in terms of superhero movies, I'll take Iron Man's cultural relevance, goofiness, and humanity over Batman's gritty, death-filled world.
There were a few things that pulled Batman down for me--the length, for starters. And did they (SPOILER) really need to pull Harvey Dent into the story? Also, next to Ledger's makeup, he just looked shitty. I also hate how every single goddamn review makes the movie about the Joker. Yes, I'm sorry he (Ledger) died, but that does not warrant him a free ticket to the front of the review, and it is not a reason to like the movie.
Another thing that annoyed the shit out of me through the entire move was the stupid voice Bruce Wayne took on as Batman..I understand he was disguising his voice, but he sounds like he's gargling a gerbil while eating gravel.
Two superheros, powerless with out technology/ninjas, and one has come out on top (for me): Iron Man. Sorry, Batman, I still love your comics.

EDIT: It looks like people agree with me, somewhat - both movies currently have a 93% rating on RottenTomatoes.
